Nothing sneaks up on me quite like the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The weather is just becoming consistently warm, and summer feels ripe when boom! Fall sale begins. For those of you not familiar, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the largest annual sale event of the year. For a limited time, customers can shop Pre-Fall 2015 products at discounted prices.
Starting today through July 16: Nordstrom Rewards Members get exclusive early access to the sale, an opportunity to purchase items before anyone else!
July 17 – August 2: Shop ’til you drop!
Here are some items I’m coveting at the moment…
Vince Adley Sandal ($284.90)
autumn cashmere Asymmetrical Cable Knit Sweater ($219.90)
Vince Newlyn High Top Sneaker ($234.90)
Veda Jayne Suede Moto Jacket ($736.90)
And this printed shirtdress, car coat cardigan (whoa!) and amazing barn coat.
The Vacationers by Emma Straub. Everyone can use a little light reading, and The Vacationers sounds like the perfect fill. A novel about the secrets, joys and jealousies that arise over the course of a family’s Mediterranean holiday.
In the Unlikely Event by Judy Blume. This is one that hits my reading list! Against the backdrop of a series of plane crashes in 1950s New Jersey, secrets are revealed and love stories play out.
Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari. Not sure about dating books? I’d give this one a second look. One of today’s sharpest comedic voices enlists a sociologist to help him understand today’s dating scene.
The Rumor by Elin Hilderbrand. Set in Nantucket, two friends work hard to create happy lives with beautiful kids, Sunday night double dates and devoted husbands, all to have it ripped apart by town gossip. “Grace and Madeline try mightily to set the record straight–but the truth might be even worse than rumor has it.” (amazon.com)
What are you reading right now? Would love to hear!
Dress: J.Crew (40% off with code LONGWEEKEND). Sandals: Sam Edelman (similar here). Sunnies: Celine. Jewelry: Cartier.
Oh hello! What has it been…three weeks? I’m sorry. Work got crazy, and then I took a trip to Europe and gallivanted around a bit. Hope everyone had a fantastic Fourth of July weekend! It was so nice to spend the weekend at home, hanging in my neighborhood and spending quality time with my honey.
I bought this dress with the holiday in mind, but also for many more warm days to follow. I love the ease of it, effortless with a simple pair of sandals or flats and small clutch. And these Sam Edelman sandals are irreplaceable – honestly and truly. I don’t know what I’ll do the day they finally decide to give out on me.
It’s nice to be back, chat soon.
