3 Destinations I'm Dreaming AboutAbout this time every year, I get bit by the travel bug. The holiday season has long come and gone, and summer seems so far away – I need an adventure to get me through the next few (rainy) months. These are a few destinations I’m dreaming about lately. Tell me, where is your wanderlust taking you this spring?

Ever since I watched Chef (I cannot shut up about this movie!), I’ve been dying to visit Miami. The vibrant food and music scene in Little Havana and the sandy shores of South Beach are beckoning me away for a long weekend.

Where I’d stay: The Thompson Hotel.

What I’d do: Sunbathe poolside or on the white sand beaches. Shop on Lincoln Road. Grab drinks at The Broken Shaker.

What I’d eat: A Cubano at Versailles. Tacos at Taquiza.

Positano is at the tippy top of my travel lust list at the moment as far as relaxing, do-nothing vacations go. Meandering the city streets and stuffing myself full of seafood and pasta sounds like the ideal week-long escape.

Where I’d stay: Hotel Conca d’Oro.

What I’d do: Charter a boat to Capri and the Blue Grotto. Read on the beach.

Where I’d eat: Oysters and champagne at Le Sirenuse. Whatever is fresh at La Tagliata.

85 miles of stunning, rugged scenery between Carmel and San Simeon just begging to be seen. I’d start the day slowly with hot coffee before lacing up my hiking shoes to explore the jagged coastline along Highway 1.

Where I’d stay: The Big Sur Lodge.

What I’d do: Hike. Drive the coastline, including a stop at McWay Falls (pictured above).

Where I’d eat: Coffee and pastries at Big Sur Bakery. Lunch at Sierra Mar.
