my new obsession

TWELFTH AVENUETWELFTH AVENUETWELFTH AVENUETWELFTH AVENUEShirt: Rails. Denim: J Brand. Boots: Madewell (sold out, but similar here and here). Bag: A.P.C. (similar). Watch: Burberry.

Remember that button down I was coveting last month? Well, I was able to nab one for 50% off from a little boutique in Hood River, and now I want about a million more. They are the softest shirts and drape oh so beautifully. I was debating with my girlfriends in the shop about whether or not the fabric was appropriate for summer, and they think it absolutely transitions, particularly since we don’t get sweltering heat here in the Pacific Northwest.

Speaking of Hood River, have you ever been there? It’s an adorable waterfront town about an hour outside of Portland in the Columbia River Gorge. Although it’s well known for outdoor sporting activities, there are plenty of breweries, wineries, cafés and boutiques to keep busy with, as well as some stunningly beautiful scenery. Earlier this month, a group of us girls went for the day to celebrate Kelsey’s birthday. Here are some of the places we visited in case you’re planning a trip and looking for ideas:

– Coffees and pastries at Pine Street Bakery
– Shopping on Oak Street
– Wine tasting at Cerulean
– Lunch and beers at Pfriem Brewery
