Reading-List-May

Overwhelmed: Work, Love, and Play When No One Has the Time by Brigid Schulte. I mean, am I right? Overwhelmed is a map of the stresses that have ripped our leisure to shreds, and a look at how to put the pieces back together. A little food for thought.

This Is Not The Story You Think It Is by Laura Munson. I have always been a person interested in other people’s feelings, relationships, emotions, I want to understand what they are feeling and why or how they got to the place they found themselves, which is why I was instantly intrigued by this story and had to continue reading. This Is Not The Story You Think It Is instantly grabbed my attention, and made me want to run out and buy immediately.

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. “The greatest romance story of this decade.”(amazon.com) I think the last real romance novel I read was The Notebook in high school, consider this officially added to my summer reading list.

Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline. Not my typical choice, Orphan Train is”a historical novel about orphans swept off the streets of New York and sent to the Midwest in the 1920s.” (nytimes.com) Sometimes an unexpected choice is just what you need.
