salty

TWELFTH AVENUE TWELFTH AVENUE TWELFTH AVENUEShirt: J.Crew. Cardigan: Evil Twin. Jeans: J Brand. Flats: Chinese Laundry. Bag: A.P.C. (now in navy!).

Normally, when someone says “this is so salty,” it is intended as a critique. Coming from me, it’s a compliment, and after dining at both Toro Bravo (happy hour) and Tasty n Sons (brunch) last week for the first time ever (I know, I know, I know), I am bestowing the second highest honor in salty flavor to chef John Gorham. (First highest honor goes to movie theater popcorn. Can’t be beat.)

For my excursion to the East side for brunch last Saturday morning, I wore my classic casual uniform: Skinny jeans, loose layers, and my favorite, most comfortable fake Jenni Kayne flats.

East coasters are going to hate me for this, but think snowy thoughts! We Portlanders are crossing our fingers for a snow day!
