2013 in review

It’s a little late, but better late then never. I blame it on my travel yesterday. Who seriously travels on holidays? It shouldn’t be allowed. Anyways, 2013, what a year in blogging it has been. Fun, exploratory, scary at times but an adventure I love with each post.

Similar to Nat, I have compiled some of my favs from 2013 (and I too have a couple posts I wish never happened, but what’s the fun in that?):

One of the things I like most about our food series is that I get to try a lot of new recipes. Often times we can get in a rut with cooking our favorite, easy dishes, but I love to experiment in the kitchen as shown throughout the year with chicken wings, different salads and tasty pastas.

Some of my favorite outfits from 2013, some of which have taught me a lot about my personal style. Keep it simple, less is more (but not too simple as my sister points out, I need to step up my creativity game in 2014). Rockin’ the overalls, studded Converse and monochromatic look.

In December, we hosted a supper club of sorts and kicked TA off with a bang. I do love a good party, and really enjoy entertaining. Everything from the place settings and menu to the music and lighting, I love it all.

Probably the only how-to post I’ll bring you, ever. It was fun picking out beautiful flowers and arranging them, but its not my jam. I will leave that to Natalie, her DIY posts rock.

In closing, a snippet of our love notes series, which happens to be one of my favorites. A peak into our homes, travels, loves and friends. Hope you enjoy.

Thank you for following along on our journey in blogging, we love having you. Cheers to a new year!
