new skirt

TWELFTH AVENUE TWELFTH AVENUE TWELFTH AVENUEShirt: Trouvé (old, but similar herehere and here). Skirt: BB Dakota. Belt: John Lewis (similar). Sandals: Me Too (similar).

A few weeks ago, Phil and I went on a brunch date to Vita Cafe on NE Alberta. (Disclaimer: Vita Cafe is so hippie-hipster I could die, but their vegan/vegetarian/carnivore/etc. offerings are worth it.) The wait for a table was 30-45 minutes, so we meandered down the street and, wouldn’t you know it, I found a skirt in a little boutique that I just had to have (c’mon, it was only fifty bucks!). This is it, by the way, in case that wasn’t obvious. I’m a big, big fan of the flattering pattern and love the color. I feel good in this skirt, which is probably why I’m pulling that swaggy face in the third photo up there. Also, did you notice I’ve had eyebrows lately? Yeah, still obsessed with my brow pencil.

Hope you all have a fabulous, sunny weekend! I’m getting my hair done tomorrow – nothing special, just a few snips and a color touch up – and Kels and I are BBQing with our guys on Saturday. Oh, and let’s not forget my standing Sunday round of golf with the family. Joy. (JK guys!)
