I believe the books people choose to read say a lot about them, so I will preface this post and tell you that I love fictional books. Fantasy and mystery are my favorites, and while you won’t find the Hunger Games or Twilight trilogies on this list, you can bet that I once wished I was Katniss who ended up with Edward Cullen.
I trust friend’s book recommendations, so gimme yours.
Wonderful Tonight by Pattie Boyd. Former wife of George Harrison and Eric Clapton, tells her story of how she found herself bound to two of the most addictive, promiscuous musical geniuses of the twentieth century and became the most legendary muse in the history of rock and roll. This book was incredibly addicting, rich and raw.
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. A woman disappears on her fifth wedding anniversary, and her husband is the prime suspect. If that doesn’t captivate you, I don’t know what will.
Alex Cross, Run by James Patterson. My love for mystery began with James Patterson’s “Kiss the Girls”, and never faltered. Alex Cross is one bad dude, learn about it.
Killing Lincoln by Bill O’Reilly. Because who doesn’t like a little history? A narrative of the heart-stopping events surrounding the assassination of Abraham Lincoln
