My girls and I got together the other night for a night out, and decided on Saucebox happy hour to start. We walked into the restaurant, and the music was loud and the bar was full. It was the perfect ambiance for a Saturday night. We ordered a variety from the happy hour menu including crispy brussels sprouts, Vietnamese salad rolls, pad thai two ways (chicken and tofu), kale curry and a spicy tuna handroll. We were obviously not in shortage of food.

From Saucebox we headed to Clyde Common, somewhere else I hadn’t tried. The bar was packed, so we grabbed stools and gathered in the corner for intimate chatting and drinking. If you are into citrus flavors, order the Heaving Petting, it’s sure to be a good time.

We ended the night at Tasty n Alder with champagne cocktails and their infamous chocolate potato doughnuts. I can’t think of a better way to cap off the night.
